About Dr Greg Smith

I'm a Clinical Psychologist, trained at the University of Leicester, and a qualified EMDR therapist. I have worked across a range of settings, including CAMHS, gender services, and forensic services, as well as in autism assessment and independent practice. My clinical work often centres on trauma and neurodiversity, but I work with a wide range of presentations.

I work integratively, drawing on psychodynamic, EMDR, CBT, CFT, ACT, and DBT-informed approaches, and I bring the same stance to supervision: curious, collaborative, and grounded in formulation rather than any single model. Supervision should be somewhere you can bring cases that are going well and challenges that are difficult to manage, and ultimately a place for professional development and building confidence.
